The chap on the other end, who identified himself as Lewis, said he was conducting some kind of research. However, when I pressed him for the name of his employer, he was rather evasive. After a brief chat with someone else in his office, he asserted he represented the government, claiming to be from a call centre located in Aberdeen. I was sceptical of his story and politely declined to participate in his survey. He abruptly terminated the call.
