I’ve been receiving calls from this number every single day, even after I've asked them to stop. I attempted to block the number, but it seems to be flagged as invalid. The person on the other end has an accent that sounds either Thai or Chinese, and it’s quite clear she’s reciting something from a script.

Seriously, if you’ve got a couple of mins, try saying something like, “Alright, I'll connect you now - got your credit card handy? Is it Visa or Mastercard? Just so you know, it’s 59p per minute. What’s the name on the card? Can you read out the long number on the front? When does it expire? Thanks! Lastly, could you give me the last 3 digits from the back?” Don’t actually answer any of their questions though. From my experience, plenty will just hang up straight away, but you’ll be surprised how persistent some can be...
