Sounds like a scam to me. The bloke had a strong Indian accent but kept saying his name was "Dave." He claimed to be ringing from Curry's/PC World about a sim-only contract, which I don't even have. These sorts of dodgy calls seem to be getting more common lately.

Absolutely a scam, supposedly from O2 mobile. When I questioned them, they rudely told me to go to hell. They even phoned back two more times, being abusive each time. They spoke with a South Asian accent.
