Got a call today from a woman claiming to be from HMRC, sounded like an Indian accent. Definitely felt like a scam trying to pass off as a tax officer.

Honestly, no way the genuine HMRC would ring me up sounding so dodgy like that voicemail! It kept asking me to press 1 to speak with some officer about tax dodging issues. Then it even tried scaring me by saying there’s an arrest warrant out for me. Total scam if you ask me.
