Upon picking up the call, I was greeted by an automated message in an American accent, stating that crucial documents had been submitted to HMRC and prompting me to press 1 to talk to a representative. Naturally, I swiftly ended the call. It's quite well-known that HMRC never makes such phone calls, so it's clearly some kind of scam!

A few weeks back, I picked up a call from a number I didn’t recognise because my mum had just been rushed to hospital. Since then, they’ve been ringing me non-stop from different numbers each day. Honestly, it’s so annoying.

I’ve been dealing with a financial broker from tradev.com for a while now, and just today my account manager got in touch with me using this number.

They just keep ringing, won’t give it a break!

Got a call outta the blue from some telemarketer who sounded like he thought he was the best thing since sliced bread. He claimed he could cut my mobile bill down but didn’t have a clue about what I’m already paying. When I called him out for being rude and interrupting my day - I’m a pretty busy woman, you know - he got all snarky and said I wasn’t very professional for a ‘professional busy lady’. I told him to take my number off his list, but he just kept being cheeky and then hung up on me. Honestly, these calls have got to stop.

Got a call looking for a person who doesn’t even have that number. When I said they weren’t there, they still kept asking if they could speak to me. Even after I said no, they wouldn’t give up. Proper annoying!
