It seems likely that my Skype has been compromised, as I often notice strange activities, like random profiles being highlighted as if there’s a message when there’s not, or receiving calls from numbers that can’t be called back. It feels as though I’m being stalked by a network of criminals who thrive on harassment, and this dreadful pattern has persisted for years. When I tried to get in touch with this number, it didn’t ring properly and nobody answered. It’s unsettling knowing they’re lurking, trying to intimidate me with their incessant monitoring. If there are any authorities involved, I urge you to report such numbers, because I feel trapped in this nightmarish situation and am in dire need of assistance to bring these individuals to justice. These individuals could very well be part of a broader syndicate, possibly even linked to networks in Nigeria known for global scams and harassment tactics. Their actions are appalling, betraying a shocking disconnection from reality and morality. I implore anyone who encounters similar issues to stand up against these vile offenders. It would be wonderful to have a dedicated platform where we could report each suspicious number, alongside potential tracing services. It would also be beneficial to have the option of connecting with detectives or law enforcement, perhaps on a payment basis, to ensure these offenders are held accountable. Got a call from some bloke called David, said he was from Virgin Media tech support. He claimed loads of people worldwide were using my internet and said he’d sort it out for me. When I mentioned someone had rung me yesterday offering the same thing, he got proper hostile. Definite scam call, stay clear!

I've had four calls over the last couple of days from someone with an Indian accent claiming they’re from Virgin Media. One time I played along and they told me to check the lights on my router because apparently my broadband was being hacked or something. Complete nonsense if you ask me. Don’t be fooled by it.

Got a call on my office line about my home internet, which felt kinda strange to me. When I pointed out it was odd to ring my work number about that, they just hung up. Others have said it might be Virgin Media, but that’s really weird since Virgin only has my mobile, not my work contact. Definitely seems a bit dodgy to me.

I've had three phone calls today from someone claiming to be with a dubious internet service provider. They insisted I was having issues with my connection and were warning me about some supposed security problems. It felt more like an attempt to pressure me into giving out personal information-something I adamantly refused to do. They certainly seem a bit too persistent for my liking!

I recently received a call from some dodgy individuals claiming to represent Amazon, alleging that they’d halted an order for an iPhone. It’s absolutely bonkers!

Received a call from this number at 8:40 this morning. When I picked up, they hung up, so I'm assuming it's just another dodgy scam. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Got a call this morning around 8.20, some person claiming to be from Virgin about suspicious activity on our broadband. My hubby couldn’t make out what she was saying so he just ended the call. We’ve had quite a few calls like this one before, always from different numbers but always with the same Virgin story. One of the numbers was 01235619307.

Got a call from 0122 4015024 early this mornin at about 7.30, I just ignored it and checked the voicemail through 1471 afterwards.

I received a rather dodgy phone call yesterday, claiming that a transaction of £599.99 had been processed through my Amazon account. They mentioned that it was on hold, waiting for my approval. Clearly, they were attempting to coax me into pressing a number to "speak to an operator"-which would likely lead to some exorbitant call charges to an unknown entity. They tried again this morning at 8:40, muttering something but hung up when I didn’t engage. Best to just disregard these attempts!

I picked up the phone, but it appeared that the person on the other end struggled to catch what I was saying. I questioned whether it was one of those bothersome calls, and just like that, they ended the conversation abruptly.

Received a call supposedly from Amazon, regarding some dodgy order. When I confronted them about it - I do love to toy with these numpties - they promptly ended the call and subsequently blacklisted my number!

I received a phone call purporting to be from Virgin. They inquired about the number of devices I had linked to my internet connection. Once I hung up, I decided to ring Virgin directly, only to discover it had been a fraudulent call.

Got a call today at 12:49, nobody spoke when I picked up and as soon as I said something the call just dropped. Blocked the number now since I don’t recognise the area code at all.

I received a call from this number claiming to be Virgin Media, stating that they were going to refund me £404 due to issues with my broadband service. The caller asked me to log into my online banking, but as I don’t use online banking, I didn’t comply. Shortly after that, they abruptly ended the call. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

Got a call from this number, I picked up and waited to hear something but the line was dead and then they just hung up. I've noticed these sorts of calls happening way more often recently, sometimes multiple times a day. Just an hour ago someone called claiming to be from Amazon Prime, which I definitely don't have. This 01224 015024 number has rung me at least half a dozen times over the last few months! Looks like Aberdeen is a common spot where these calls are coming from.

I got calls from this number 01224 015024 three times today, same bloke each time, sounded Asian/Indian and claimed to be from Amazon Security. He said someone had ordered an iPhone 10 on my account and I owed money for it. I told him I hadn't ordered anything and I wasn’t paying a single penny, told him to jog on. He kept insisting I had to pay, but I told him no way. Eventually, we just ended the call.

Got a voicemail saying it was Amazon support. I just ended the call straight away.

Hung up straight away when I figured out it was a telemarketer trying to scam me.

They told me they was BT when I asked for the account number, but then they said they couldn’t give it to me because the calls were being recorded.

Just ended the call, total spam again.

there was ages of silence before anyone said anything - loads of noise in the background. The person on the line asked "is this Mr XXXXX?" I replied "who’s this?" then they just hung up.

Right before they even started talking, I asked if the call was about the cream for the scabs on my #### and they just hung up. Number was 01224015024.

Spotted a number that rang alarm bells and it turned out to be a con. A foreign chap claimed he was from Amazon, so I let him have it, called him a right numpty and told him to bog off. Can you believe his nerve? He actually said, "I beg your pardon!" Fingers crossed it wasn’t a genuine call from Amazon!

Honestly, this is so frustrating!

Received a rather dodgy call earlier today from this number, claiming that my account had been compromised and someone had supposedly splurged on a brand new iPhone. They were incredibly pushy and insisted they were representing Amazon. I sensed straight away it was a scam, so I cut the conversation short and hung up. Be wary of what these callers say; it’s all a ruse!
