A while back, my mother had a rather concerning experience after sharing some personal information over the phone, prompted by someone who seemed quite trustworthy at the time. Since then, we've strongly advised her to refrain from disclosing any of her private information, no matter how persuasive the caller may appear. She's now 86 and has been receiving numerous calls from this particular number. Thankfully, she’s followed our advice and has been diligent in hanging up.
