seemed like they were from some debt help company or something

i keep getting calls from the 'debf helpline' every day but they change the number all the time. yesterday it was a number from bolton, today it's coming from aberdeen lol. everytime it's the same asian bloke on the phone though. this been happening since around may 5th and sometimes they ring me 2 or 3 times daily. the government should really do something to stop these scammers.

I received a rather dubious phone call today from someone claiming to be affiliated with the national debt helpline. This chap attempted to convince me to divulge some of my personal information under the guise of wanting to assist me. Frankly, it seems quite evident that it's a scam and this individual should be approached with extreme caution.

I told the person on the other end to wait and tried to keep the call going for as long as I could. I figured if they had me chatting, they weren’t trying to scam anyone else at that time. After a bit, they got annoyed and ended the call.

Got a call from some number starting 24.5.2, said it was about a government scheme that could clear 60% of my debt. The guy kept going on for ages so I just let him talk. When I finally asked which scheme it was, he said IVA. Tried calling him back but the number was unreachable. Ended up telling him I’d send a letter and that’s where we left it.

i keep getting calls from different numbers from what they claim is the national debt helpline but it’s obviously a scam. the calls come from a foreign office, not anywhere in the uk. whenever i call them out on it they just put the phone down. i’ve told them several times to take my number off their list but they dont stop bothering me. definitely dont talk to them, it’s just a scam.
