Received a dodgy call claiming to be from an Amazon call centre. It was just a pre-recorded spiel concerning my Amazon Prime subscription, requesting that I press 1 or 2 to connect with someone who would inevitably try to dupe me for my hard-earned cash. My advice? Either swing the conversation to waste their time or simply hang up and save yourself the hassle. Remember, keep your personal information to yourself. While they’re busy chatting with you, they’re not busy preying on those who might be more susceptible.
