So I got a call from someone claiming to be Chris from MICROSOFT. The first time he rang, I just said no thanks and ended the call. Then, barely a minute later, he called back and asked why I had hung up. I said I wasn’t sure who he was, and he snapped at me saying HE TOLD ME AT THE START, all loudly. I told him I wasn’t interested and hung up again. Then just a couple of minutes after, he rang once more and my husband answered. The guy started threatening that my MICROSOFT ACCOUNT WOULD GET BLOCKED if we didn’t comply. Really rude and not okay at all.

A bloke called Chris Wiiliam claiming to be from Microsoft rang me about error messages coming from their servers on my PC. Rather oddly, rather than trying to get me to install any kind of remote software like teamviewer or anydesk, he just handed me a couple of support numbers to ring back - 01180 102110 and a local rate one 0344 800 2400. Then he just dropped the line. Bit strange really. Maybe the scammers have run out of calling credit or something?

Some woman, definitely not a proper lady, with a thick Asian accent rang me claiming she was from Microsoft - yeah, another classic scam. I called her out, saying she was probably phoning from India. She then goes off saying she’s a terrorist from Pakistan and that they’re going to blow my house up. Clearly, she was having a bad day or something, haha!

Got a call from someone named “Oscar” claiming he was with Microsoft. Total fibber. I don’t even have Microsoft products. Seriously, watch out, this was definitely a scam! Fraud alert!

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said she was from Microsoft. She told me hackers were on my PC and asked me to log in and give her an ID number. It sounded fishy so I didn’t do it. She then got quite loud and pushy, so I just said no thank you and ended the call. After that, she called a few more times, each time speaking in a very aggressive way.

Got a call from some bloke called Dave claiming to be from Microsoft. Sounded dodgy, definitely one of those typical Asian call centre scams. Watch out!

Someone called i### but didn’t get through. They hung up as soon as the answerphone started playing.

I got a call from this number but didn’t answer since it wasn’t familiar. I let it go to voicemail straight away, but the line just dropped right after. Being in my 70s, I get loads of calls like this, so I’ve basically stopped bothering with them now!

Got a call around 8.40 in the morning from someone saying they were representing Microsoft. They said there had been error reports on my system over the past couple of days. I was obviously suspicious right away. He tried convincing me it was legit by reading out a long string of letters and numbers. While he was babbling, I searched the phone number online and quickly found out it’s almost certainly a scam. I told him what I thought, which seemed to annoy him quite a bit, so I just ended the call. Fingers crossed they don’t bother me again.

I got a call from a bloke at first on the international number 02080894306, claiming there was an issue with my Microsoft account. When I stopped responding, he just dropped the call. A little later, he rang me again but this time from 01223928452. When I told him I wasn’t interested and wouldn't chat, he got quite rude and then just put the phone down.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft about my computer. They already knew my name, which felt odd. The bloke had a strong Indian accent and soon got really loud and rude. I just ended the call.

I got one of those calls saying there’s something wrong with my computer, even though I don’t even use the internet! It’s really baffling how these tech scam calls keep happening, and you’d think someone in charge would have put a stop to them by now.

About a couple hours after I got a scam call from a UK number, I got this one too. I allowed the phone to ring and go to voicemail, but as soon as it started, they just cut the call off. Reading other reviews, looks like these are linked and part of some kind of scam.
