11 yearsOn the 11th of February, 2016, I received a peculiar call around 9:25 AM. Initially, an Indian woman was on the line, and she swiftly transferred me to someone identifying himself as James Morgan. He claimed to be representing Microsoft and insisted that there was a significant issue with my computer, impacting a staggering 30,000 other machines! He alarmingly warned that my computer could fail if I didn’t provide him with more details. When I suggested he ring me back in two hours, he reacted rather dramatically, stating it would be too late. I promptly ended the call.James MorganMicrosoft11 yearsThis morning at half past eight, I received a phone call from someone purporting to be from Microsoft Security using this very number.Microsoft Security11 yearsI’ve had a rather dodgy experience with a caller today-some chap who went by the name of David, claiming he was from Microsoft. It was around 9 in the morning on the 2nd of September, 2016. He rang me up saying that someone was attempting to breach the security of my computer. However, when I asked him for his company details and a contact number to verify his identity, he seemed quite perturbed. I strongly advise steering clear of any instructions they may give. It’s clearly a scam!DavidMicrosoft11 yearsI’ve just had that very same call come through.11 yearsReceived a call claiming there was a problem with my computer. I highly doubt their credibility.
