Got a ring from 01223 707147 saying they were from hmrc. I didn’t hit 1 or anything, so just waiting to see how quick they decide to arrest me. Honestly not bothered at all.

Got a robo call claiming to be from HMRC, warning me about some tax fraud and telling me to press 1 to speak with their office. They said if I didn’t press 1, I’d be arrested soon. I’ve done nothing dodgy, so I knew straight away it was a scam. Also, they never even mentioned my name! If it was really from HMRC, surely a real person would ring you directly, not some automated message?
