GOT A VOICEMAIL SAYING IT WAS HMRC AND IF I DIDN'T PRESS 1 THEY'D ARREST ME STRAIGHT AWAY BECAUSE OF A WARRANT - COMPLETE SCAM. JUST HUNG UP IMMEDIATELY.

Got a voicemail claiming it was from HMRC saying there’s some fraud case on my account - they never mentioned my actual name tho. They told me to press 1 to be put through and said if I didn’t, a warrant would be issued the same day. I just ended the call - no official govt office would reach out like that.

Got a call from this number on Bank Holiday Monday about loft insulation. Told them to leave me alone and they actually called me rude. Proper cheeky!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Property Performance, saying they needed to inspect loft insulation in the CB1 area that had been done with a grant because of some ‘problems’ that were reported. I asked quite a few questions and they told me someone would ring me back on Monday. MG

Got a call from someone saying her name was ‘Bea’ and that she was ringing from an Energy Efficiency firm, wanting to chat about insulation she assumed I'd got. Felt pretty fake, like she was just trying to trick me. Started off polite but got quite pushy when I mentioned the TPS register. Ended the call and made sure to report it.

Got a call from someone named James, said he was a surveyor from the CB area. He asked if I recalled the fireproof stuff they put in my loft. I told him I don’t even have a loft. He seemed a bit rattled and kinda lost for words after that!

As soon as I picked up and my voicemail kicked in, the caller just ended the call. A lot of the calls I get on my landline are just unwanted, so I've stopped answering it altogether. My mates all ring me on my mobile now.

Kept denying they were selling anything but then admitted they had something to do with insulation. Got quite grumpy when I told them it was pointless (shouldve asked about the TPS though).

someone called saying they had installed loft insulation in our old house and asked how it was working out. problem is, we never had any insulation put in. he said maybe the previous owner did it, but there wasnt any previous owner, we bought it brand new when it was built. sounded like a load of rubbish, probably a scam aimed at others. im on the tps list so i’ll be reporting this number as harassing.
