Got a call from someone saying they wanted to add more to my life insurance because it supposedly didn’t cover funeral expenses. Thing is, I cancelled that insurance ages ago, but oddly enough, they still knew the company I used. I told them I’ve already sorted my funeral costs, so no need for that.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from an insurance company. They told me my life insurance didn't include funeral expenses. Problem is, I don't even have life insurance at the moment, but they somehow knew which company I had it with in the past. They were trying to convince me to increase my coverage.

They rang but I didn’t catch which company they were from. Said something about doing work in the area and asked if I was still with the same energy supplier (which they already seemed to know). I just ended the call. Maybe they’re the ones installing smart meters? Not sure.
