Keep getting nonstop calls claiming to be from Citizens Advice, HMRC, or about my house, car crash, or debts. When they mentioned debt help, they said my number was passed on because I owe money. I asked what debts they meant, they asked if I had any, so I said you tell me since you're the one calling saying I do, then they just hung up. Totally feels like a scam.

Someone rang me but it went straight to voicemail, yet the bloke didn’t mute his end and kept chatting with a mate next to him for like 5 minutes. Both of them definitely had South African accents, and I could hear a few other voices in the background too. The chat was pretty entertaining, to say the least!

Got a call from 01223 157933 about some car crash. Sounded like they were just reading from a script. Found out they’ve been ringing others about some energy survey too. Totally feels like a scam. They wouldn’t say who they were or give any phone number. As soon as I stopped replying, they just hung up. Number’s blocked now.

Told em to take my number off their list but they just said no can do, wouldn’t give me an address to send a complaint by post either. They even bit smug about how random calls like that aren’t against the law. Honestly, I reckon calls like these push a lot of usually calm folks into turning into those annoying, ranting trolls online.
