Received a call claiming to be from BT, supposedly regarding my broadband speed. The person on the line had an accent that sounded foreign (perhaps Asian?), and the background noise was akin to that of a bustling call centre. They kept repeating that they were there to assist me, but it felt rather off. Eventually, I decided to hang up as it was clearly not a genuine BT representative.
