This morning, I received a call from someone claiming there had been suspicious activity on my Amazon account. The lady on the other end spoke in rather fractured English and insisted that she needed to cancel an order. She then asked if I'd be able to receive a passcode via text and wanted to know whether I was using an iPhone or an Android. I couldn't help but chuckle and informed her that I was far from gullible and aware of her scam. Well, she didn't take kindly to being called out and promptly hung up on me. Please spread the word to anyone who might be susceptible to this sort of trickery, as they should be on high alert if they receive similar calls.

I got an odd voicemail the other day from this number claiming to be from a car leasing firm. The thing is, I've never dabbled in leasing vehicles at all. So, I thought it best to just erase the message and steer clear of calling them back.

I've had this number call me a couple of times, and every time I pick up quickly, there's no one there, just some automated message from a car leasing firm. I've never asked about leasing or anything like that. So yeah, it's blocked now.

I’m not familiar with this number at all, and no voicemail was left either. If it had been a legitimate call, surely they would’ve taken the time to leave a message. Therefore, I’m considering it as a potential scam.
