Some people rang up my Dad pretending his computer was compromised and tried to get in control of it. One bloke called Aron, sounded like he had an accent, maybe Indian or Chinese, made Dad really worried. Real scammy lot.

I kept getting calls from all over, like 5 different countries, saying my Windows licence was hacked or something. When they passed me to the person in charge, they sounded really grumpy. They told me this was the official Windows support number!

Absolutely brilliant service from this department! They were incredibly supportive when it came to sorting out my computer issues. Highly recommend!

They told me my Microsoft licences were corrupted and messing with my internet big time. Then they said if I downloaded their software it would fix everything. Turns out it just wiped loads of stuff off my computer instead. Honestly, watch out for this, it’s dodgy!

It appears this is a fraudulent operation masquerading as BT.

Got a call from a private number, the bloke said he was from Sky, using a Sky email account to prove it. He told us someone had hacked our account using 'team viewer' or something like that - couldn’t quite catch it properly because of his accent when we asked him to spell it out. Then he wanted us to switch on our computer so he could help fix it. When I asked for a callback number since our landline was dead, he was pretty stingy about giving one. Obviously, we didn't ring back. Instead, I just looked up the phone number online and ended up on this site!
