Got loads of calls from some PPI claims firm called First Assist last year, was pretty relentless. This year, they quieted down, but suddenly started up again recently. Not sure if I’ll keep putting up with their shady behaviour much longer. Might just have to lodge a complaint with the ICO if they don’t stop.

Some bloke called me about "a car crash I supposedly had" and said I was owed £2000. I decided to humour him and spun a wild, made-up tale full of daft details about the accident. He then said someone would show up in a public spot to chat about it and get me to sign some medical paperwork. After that, I was meant to get my cheque. Clearly a con, but I thought I’d have a laugh and hang them up for a bit.
