Got a call from some firm named Redstar saying I had a refund on an old credit card. No way, since I’ve not switched cards or anything. They said they had my info since they’re a financial company or something. I just ended the call straight away.

I've been receiving calls from this number every single day. They seem to be after a chat, but as soon as I pick up, they just hang up! What a strange and rather unsettling situation, to say the least. Definitely gives off some dodgy vibes!

Got a call from some firm called Redstar, a woman with a strong Mancunian accent. She told me I had a big PPI refund over £2000 but claimed I hadn’t returned the paperwork. She knew a lot of details about me which was odd. Thing is, I never got any forms at all. When I asked her to send the forms over she just dropped the call. There is a company named Redstar but their website looks really dodgy. I’ll look into whether I qualify for PPI but definitely not via some cold call, especially after how rude she was!

got a call from this number, picked up and all i could hear was silence!

Got a random call on my mobile while at work. Didn't pick up ’cause I didn’t recognise the number. Tried calling back from the office landline (we’re not allowed mobiles in the workplace). It sounded like some call centre, and when I asked who it was, they just said “probably one of your colleagues”. Asked again for a name, and they rudely snapped, “I’m trying to tell your sir” before just hanging up. So no clue who it was. Some not so nice words popped into my head after that.
