Someone rang saying it was the bank about suspicious transactions on my account, but as soon as I asked them to say which bank it was, they just ended the call.

I got a dodgy call from 01223 525124 a while ago. The bloke claimed he was Simon York from some UK sanction department, but he was actually Indian. He told me I owed £1000 for a supposed criminal case to my name. He kept pushing me to pay right away and got quite aggressive when I said no. Watch out for these scammers - hope someone stops them soon.

Someone rang me pretending to be from HM Revenue and said there was some sort of fraud case against me. They told me if I didn’t press 1 to talk to an agent, they'd send warrants or involve the police. Proper scary, but it sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the bank, said £600 had been withdrawn from our account. We looked into it and there was no sign of any £600 taken out.

i got a call from someone claiming to be from hmrc telling me there was a fraud investigation on my account. they said if i didn’t press one right away, the police would come to my house to arrest me. seemed pretty dodgy to me.
