Got a call from 01223 059535 - it was one of those tax fraud scam things. Some robotic voice told me there's a case about tax fraud against me from HMRC. Honestly, just ignore and hang up straight away. HMRC never rings like that - they always send a proper letter with your full info on it. No way they'd use an automated message for something so serious.

What a rubbish scam try! I told the police through Action Fraud, which is where everyone should be reporting scams. Just google 'Action Fraud', go to the official 'police.uk' website, find the 'report' button, then pick the phishing option from the dropdown menu. Scroll down past the scam emails and you can start your report there. This is just one of probably a million scam calls, texts and emails that flood in every week. If more people actually reported them properly, maybe the police would be able to crack down on these low-life scammers for good.
