I got a call for someone else, said wrong number. Then the bloke goes, “Oh sorry, but since you’re there, when did you last go on holiday to Spain?” I wasn’t interested and ended the call after a bit. Told him I’m disabled, and he says “all our hotels cater for disabled access.” Total scam, honestly!!!!!!

Got a call from a woman claiming she was ringing about the Olympics. She insisted I’d been to Spain loads, but I know for a fact I haven’t been there in the past 50 years. I told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Even though I’m on the TPS, it doesn’t seem to stop these sorts of calls. I’ve blocked the number now anyway.

Just like someone else mentioned before, this company keeps ringing up loads of people without asking. I thought there were laws stopping that sort of thing? I've put their number on block and I'm signed up with the TPS anyway. I did have a timeshare at one point, so maybe that's how they got hold of my digits.

Had some daft woman call my personal number, then started chatting away with someone else on her team like "Are you off now?" all while I was saying "hello" a bunch of times. What a pair of muppets disturbing me like that, talking in the background before just hanging up. Clearly, she must be smashing it at telesales... not! What a load of tossers. Got a call from some Scottish bloke claiming to be from the Valencia Tourist Board, saying they wanted to sort out a week at a new hotel since we've visited Spain before. We do have a timeshare, but it’s not in Spain and never will be. No idea how they got our number, but told them we're registered with the TPS so they shouldn’t be ringing us. I’ve blocked the number via PlusNet, so unless they switch numbers, they won’t get through again. Has anyone else reported them to TPS? With GDPR coming into force next year, they’re gonna be in trouble!

My number’s been getting calls from the same place a few times recently, twice just the last couple days and a couple days straight earlier this month too. They never leave a message but I answered once and could hear loads of background noise, sounded like some call centre. Luckily I’ve got caller ID and a little ringtone that warns me it’s a dodgy call, so I just don’t bother picking up now.

Got a call around 13:15 from a woman with a foreign accent claiming to be from Exclusive Weeks. She mentioned we'd been to Spain before (not sure if she was guessing or had info, but she knew my name) and offered a free week at some new hotel. Didn’t let her go on - told her we’re on the TPS and called her out as a scammer, then ended the call.

Beware of this company, they call pretending to offer cheap holidays abroad but once you arrive they push you to buy a timeshare or convince you to switch your existing one. The woman on the phone claimed she was calling from Benidorm or Wakefield at different times, but it turns out she's actually based in Cambridge. The company behind it all is called Exclusive Weeks.

Got a call from a woman demanding me by my full name, asking if I was still involved with DRI. She then wanted my email to send some info from the European Council about reclaiming money from DRI. I said no thanks and refused to share my email. She just hung up abruptly, no farewell or anything. Definitely a scam in my book. Really creeps me out how she got my details. Not long ago I got a call from this number, some person pretending to be from exclusive breakaways. Just got another call from the same number, this time a woman saying she was from the Timeshare Council. She wanted me to verify if I was still part of DRI. She asked if I'd heard about the 'new European Directive on Timeshare'. I said yes and ended the call.

I don’t get why, if so many folks have already flagged this number as a cold caller, it’s still allowed to ring about. Does the TPS have no real authority to put an end to this? I got a call from them at 11am today, had to stop what I was doing, and then they just hung up as soon as I answered. My daughter works nights, so these illegal disruptions are really upsetting her rest.

They called me by name and said a colleague had phoned me last year. Said their company [time share, didn’t specify] was having a clearance ‘sale’ for £99, and asked if I wanted in. Like usual, I told them to remove me from their list or I’d have to make a formal complaint. They hung up pretty quick after that!

I got a call from this number trying to sell me a holiday deal - one week for two people in a posh 4 or 5 star hotel somewhere in Europe or even abroad, all for £99.99 each. When I said I wasn’t interested, they just cut the call. A quick search showed it’s a scam, basically about pushing timeshares and fishing for your bank info. Definitely dodgy!

Got a call just a few mins back, I've got this BT Call Guardian thingy on my phone, which makes callers say who they are first, then I can decide to pick up, ignore or block. This firm clearly tried to make it seem like they were connected to a timeshare company we dealt with once a few years back. The number rings to an answering machine that says the company is Exclusive Breakaway. Their website is [#]exclusivebreakaway[###] and they have a freephone number 0800 024 3199. When I spoke to a bloke there, he defended his company's name but denied using other companies' names to gain access. That’s just not true. I reckon their salespeople probably do it on their own to boost sales. My tip would be to steer well clear of any company that pulls stunts like this.
