I got a call from a number I didn’t know, but there was no message left. Felt kinda dodgy to me.

They didn’t even let me say anything, which is usual as I tend to ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If it’s really urgent, they’ll just leave a voicemail, right?

I have no clue who that was, didn’t pick up. I did accidentally click on a solar panel advert on Facebook though, my fault. Normally I ignore random calls and check the number first. Out of the 5 calls I’ve got lately, 3 turned out to be obvious scams and 2 seemed harmless enough.

Got a call from someone claiming to be checking up on a solar panel enquiry we supposedly made. Thing is, we never asked about solar panels at all! I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call from this number but my phone flagged it as possible spam, so I just ignored it and blocked it straight away.

They didn’t bother leaving any message, so I just deleted the call.

On the 23rd of November 2022, I received a call on my landline which is signed up to the Telephone Preference Service, but since they didn’t bother leaving a message, it mustn’t have been anything urgent.

So this bloke rings me up saying "Is this Mr Charlton?" I was like, "Hold on, mate, how do you know my name anyway?" Then he starts going on about me being a top contender for the EuroMillions or somethin’. All this iPhone nonsense thrown in there too. Honestly, I just stopped listening and ended the call.
