I got a call from a lady asking about roof insulation and then she started asking quite personal stuff like who owns my place, if it’s shared ownership, my age, that sort of thing. I felt bad because I actually do need better insulation, so I ended up answering all her questions and even said yes to a visit from someone. But after a while, I found I hadn’t been told which company she was with and when I tried to ring back, there was no reply. Definitely seems like a scam to me!

Got a call from some young woman claiming to be doing a survey about the insulation we have at home. She was quite polite but kept pushing for us to let a surveyor come over. Seemed a bit fishy, almost like some kind of insulation scam. I’d definitely be careful with calls like this.
