Got a call from some bloke called Chris claiming to be from an energy saving firm supposed to be local to my postcode - but I’m nowhere near Cambridgeshire! Told him I really didn’t think he was local at all since I live miles away, and he just dropped the call. Then, the same chap rang me again but this time from a mobile, number was 07548 197563. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I received a call from someone who introduced himself as an energy consultant, claiming his name was Chris. He inquired whether I was the owner of the property. It definitely had the feel of a call centre, with the unmistakable hum of an office environment in the background.

Didn't pick up when this number rang and no voicemail was left. After reading some of the other replies, I’m pretty sure it’s one of those scam calls, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

No idea who they are or anyone from Cambridgeshire for that matter. So why the heck are they ringing me? Feels like one of those dodgy scams.

I got a call from someone named Chris, claiming to be from an energy firm. When I told him I wasn’t the homeowner, he just ended the call. Funny thing is, his voice made it sound like he was calling from a kids’ play centre or something.

So relieved I ignored this call! I’d already had one dodgy call from 01204 918166, which I accidentally picked up, and then a few more suspicious ones that I didn’t even bother answering. Thought this one was probably just another scam.
