I received three calls within a week from this number. Honestly, I couldn’t make head nor tail of what she was saying-something about a recruitment agency and a van leaving tonight, perhaps? When I inquired how she obtained my number, she didn’t respond at all. So, I've decided to block and report the number.

Why is there no rule stopping them from ringing at odd hours? Getting a call close to 9pm really isn’t on. Luckily, my phone just sends any unknown numbers straight to voicemail without even ringing, but if an elderly person got a call that late, it wouldn’t seem right at all. I’ve got no clue who these people are, but they can keep calling me all they want - I’m never picking up!

Got a call from some so-called "recruiter" at 9 in the evening offering me a "Software Engineer" position. When I asked why they thought a Bridge Engineer would fit, they stumbled all over themselves. I mentioned I’m actually a Civil Engineer, but honestly, I wasn’t in the mood for polite chat... Definitely a scam. Blocked straight away.

I got a call from this number and the person on the other end claimed to be from a recruitment agency. I told them I’m already working and not hunting for a new job. She then said it wouldn’t take long and that part-time work was an option. I still said no thanks. After that, she asked whether I was male or female but I just ignored that question.

Got a call from a woman with a heavy Asian accent who wanted to know my name! Obviously, I didn’t give it ‘cause it sounded like a total scam. When I asked what the call was about and how she got my number, she just said it was a job offer but wouldn’t say where she found my details (probably just guessing numbers). Told her I wasn’t keen, she kept pushing for my name, so I told her no and then ended the call.

“They say ‘We found your number from DIFFERENT sources’, yeah right, I seriously doubt it. Then they ask, ‘Can I have your first name? We want to offer you a job.’ No way. If you haven’t got a clue who I am or my work history, there's no way you could offer me a position. - then they just hang up. I received a call from a woman who had a quite heavy Indian accent and struggled with her English. Initially, she insisted she had some potential work for me. It took a bit of back-and-forth to get any clarity, as she was quite elusive in her responses. Eventually, I gathered that she was likely trying to sell something related to UpWork-a site that’s a fair bit like Fiverr, but not exactly top-notch. I could never quite figure out if she was genuinely offering me a job or merely trying to drum up more leads. Her description of the skills she was after was extremely vague. To make matters worse, she was relentless, ringing me daily for three whole weeks until I finally picked up. Best to steer clear of this one.

Had a rather peculiar encounter with someone speaking in that ‘Roadman’ lingo. They claimed to be from a recruitment agency and wanted to offer me a job. I made it clear that I wasn't interested and requested them to remove my number from their records.
