Around 1:25pm on 15th August 2019, my landline got hit with calls from various numbers, all starting with 012, happening a couple of times a day, several days a week. Whenever I don’t bother answering, they leave no voicemail. Staying quiet on the line doesn’t trigger any message either. But if I actually say “hello,” an automated robotic voice kicks in, claiming to be from TalkTalk or sometimes BT, warning that "Your internet service is at risk of being cancelled. Press One to disconnect or Two to talk to a technician."
