Someone rang claiming to be from BT Internet, saying my connection had been hacked. Problem is, I don’t even have BT for my internet. When I asked them how they knew about my supposed problem, there was this awkward silence, then they just repeated themselves. So, I just ended the call. Later, I tried ringing them back but got a robotic voice telling me extension 8006 isn’t available and to leave a message. I gave it a shot three times and got the exact same automated response every time.
