Got a call from some cold caller earlier, totally unexpected.

I called them back using a private number and they told me the call was anonymous and their system couldn’t identify it. Makes you wonder, why would that happen if they weren’t up to something dodgy?

they claimed to be from some firm but i quickly hung up cuz i'm not linked with any providers like bt or sky, and they mentioned a company ive never heard of so i just ended the call.

Hi, we got a couple of calls from this number today. The first was about lunchtime, which is usually when we get random cold calls, and the second was a bit later. We didn’t pick up either time and there was no voicemail left. From what others have said here, it sounds like just another dodgy scam call.
