TOTAL SCAM ALERT! I received a call with an automated voice claiming it was related to an HMRC investigation against me. Naturally, I pressed 1 to connect with someone. When I got through to an operator, they began requesting my personal information. When I expressed my suspicion-after all, it was a bank holiday, and HMRC doesn’t operate then-I refused to give any details. They promptly ended the call. Classic dodgy behaviour!
