I picked up this call as I’ve been getting quite a few about debts and PPI claims lately, so I was curious to see where they’d got my info from. First, there was a recorded message explaining the call was about unsecured debts being written off up to 70%, but only for debts over £10k, and it told me to press 5 to speak to someone. When I pressed through, the person said “This is Chris from Money Savers,” and I told him I didn’t owe any money but wanted to know where they’d obtained my details. Right then, the line suddenly dropped and I was cut off. I’ll give them another go next time, but I reckon this number needs to be flagged as spam - can you make that happen?

If you’re looking for a way to block these annoying calls, I’ve been using Truecaller on my phone. It lets you mark numbers as spam so your phone doesn’t ring when they call. It’s free and works on most devices. Not trying to promote anything, just sharing what’s worked for me. Have a look it up, it’s really helpful!
