Someone rang me yesterday but didn’t say anything or leave a message. They called back today and when I picked up, there was just silence. I searched the number on a few websites and it seems like it’s linked to some sort of energy scam, probably just checking if your phone line is active.

I’ve had two calls from this number now. The first time they didn’t leave a voicemail or anything. When I answered the second time, there was complete silence on the other end, so I just hung up. Feels like they might be scamming and are just trying to see if my landline is active or something.
