I got an automated call saying there was a £700 breach on my Amazon account. Without thinking, I pressed 1 to talk to someone, but then I started getting suspicious. When I asked the woman on the line why she’d called, she said she hadn’t rung me at all - her accent sounded Asian. I rang Amazon straight away and they told me it was a scam for sure, as they’d never reached out to me and there was no sign of anything dodgy on my account. They've passed the number over to their fraud team to look into. Properly dodgy stuff!
