I seem to get these calls about once a fortnight, and honestly, I enjoy messing about with them just as much as they waste my time. After keeping the conversation going for a good ten minutes, I told them that my car had been smashed off the White Cliffs of Dover by some nutter. When they asked if anyone got hurt, I said all eight passengers had tragically died. Then, when they wanted to know about my injuries, I jokingly said I'd been decapitated. Proper laugh!

Got one of those robo calls today claiming I’d been in a car crash. Thing is, I definitely hadn’t been in any accident! Classic automated scam stuff, really.
