I keep getting calls from this number, but there’s never anyone there when I pick up!

I've been getting calls from this number multiple times throughout the week. Each time I pick up, they just sit there in silence before hanging up. I can't help but wonder if they're trying to gauge who's at home or if the line's occupied. Perhaps some salesperson is just gathering a list of contacts? Whatever their motive, it’s really getting on my nerves! If it turns out to be that solar energy company again, they've already been told I'm not interested, and that was six months back!

When I picked up, it was just dead air, no one on the other end. I'm guessing it's one of those auto-dialling systems that moves quicker than their staff can manage.
