Got a recorded call from someone claiming to be HM Revenue & Customs, sounding like it came from the Cambridge area. They were threatening me with arrest and legal action, saying I’d been involved in some fraud. They kept telling me to press a number, but I hung up straight away. Definitely a scam trying to steal your details by scaring you into handing over money - watch out and report it to [email protected] if you get one. They’re basically trying to get into your bank account by pushing you into paying up to dodge prosecution.
