Got a call earlier, didn’t pick up. Then they called back half an hour later, so I went for it. This person launched into a long winded chat, sounded like they were from abroad, some Indian accent, going on about my internet and how it’s been compromised or something. I told them (not really true) I didn’t own a computer. After a silent pause they just hung up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media, which was a bit of a switch from the usual BT callers. When I told him I wasn't a Virgin customer, he went on to ask if I was with Sky instead. I told him I wasn’t with either of those firms, and then he started rambling about broadband and data stuff. I knew it was some scammer trying to trick me, so I hung up quick. How on earth are these scammers still roaming free?!
