I've had a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, insisting that I've been involved in some sort of fraud. They warned me that if I didn't press a certain button, they'd send someone to arrest me! I didn't fall for it, as I know I'm innocent, but I can imagine how distressing this could be for someone older. My advice to everyone out there is straightforward: don’t engage-just hang up immediately!
