I received two calls in quick succession from individuals claiming to represent Microsoft. The moment I hinted at reporting them, they promptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

My missus picked up the phone and it was some guy claiming to be from Microsoft, said he wanted to sort out a virus on our computer. She told him we use a Mac, not Microsoft, so clearly a con. Then the bloke went mental, calling her all sorts of nasty names. He even threatened to slit her throat with a knife. Proper scary situation.

Had a call from an Indian call centre today, they were pretending to be from Microsoft or trying to sort out some PPI claim for a car crash. Complete scam, but I kept them on the line as long as possible - they get really annoyed when you don’t bite! Made my day lol.

I dont know who they are or why they keep ringing me. Just blocked the number with BT Call Protect. Done and dusted. They can ring til they’re blue in the face, but they’re going straight to the bin! Bye for good.

Today, I got a rather unsolicited call from 01222568333 claiming to be from Microsoft. I expressly told them to stop calling me, to which the response was almost comical-something along the lines of “I’ll call you repeatedly!” They kept repeating it, regardless of my protestations. Eventually, I just had to hang up after I told him where he could very well shove his call. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

I've received calls from this number three times now, and each time I've politely declined, saying "no thank you, not today." To my utter surprise, the response has been an abrupt, "oh, bugger off then," followed by the line going dead. Then, just days later, I found myself on the phone yet again, this time with someone from an overseas call centre, and I'll be honest, their accent was so thick I could barely make out a word. Next time they ring, I reckon I'll mention involving my solicitor and see if that puts an end to their pestering.

Seems like these jingling scam calls have been quite active today, judging by all the chatter about this number. It’s the usual trick, which I reckon people must be getting fed up with by now, quite like those annoying ppi ring-ins.

Ive been getting loads of calls from these so-called Microsoft support people. They say there’s something wrong with my computer and ask me to switch it on. The person on the line had a strong Indian accent and wasn’t very good with English. I let her ramble for about 8 mins then told her i recorded the call and that i dont have internet at all. She dropped the call right away. Also notice they often come up as “caller ID unavailable” which i never pick up. They call at all sorts of times, day and night. Honestly, don’t waste your time on these lot.

If you’re with BT broadband, you can get ‘BT Call Protect’ free which is pretty handy. After you get a suspicious call, just hop online, check the caller info right there, and you can blacklist the number straight away. Once you do that, you won’t be bothered by that number again. Just a heads up, you’ll need to have ‘caller display’ turned on for this to work properly. Really useful service!
