Im pretty sure this is one of those recorded calls where it pauses for you to reply, and if you say yes to something like having an accident, they jump on it. I figured this out coz after the message finished talking I yelled really loud for a good while, maybe 5 seconds, and then it just kept going like I hadn’t said a word. If it was a real person on the other end their ears would’ve been ringing for sure!

They kept asking if I’d been in a crash, and each time I said no, but they just stuck to their script like a robot. When they asked about the accident again, I told them I hadn’t had one, still no luck. After the third time, I could tell they realised I was messing with them, and this annoyed woman abruptly hung up. I couldn’t help but laugh afterwards!

Earlier today, I received a rather puzzling phone call from an unknown number. Naturally, I decided to investigate the caller and, fingers crossed, I’ve managed to block them now. Honestly, it’s quite absurd - I don’t even own a car! When I tried to explain this to them, they simply wouldn’t listen. It was only after I reiterated rather politely yet firmly, “What do you not comprehend about the fact that I DO NOT HAVE A CAR?” that they finally seemed to take the hint.

I just got a call from this number which left me quite baffled. The caller claimed I'd been involved in an accident-totally untrue, mind you-but when I pressed him for more details, he couldn’t elaborate at all. I informed him that he was in breach of the law since my number is registered with the TPS, but by the time I got that out, he had already cut the line! I've gone ahead and blocked the number, but it’s disheartening to see there are so many dodgy outfits like this one out there.

Upon attempting to return the call, we were greeted by a recording that informed us we had reached a non-existent number, spoken in a distinctly Eastern European female accent.
