Prank call, perhaps? Certainly wasn't my case. Same old story, really. There's never anyone there until you start talking, and then you're met with some poorly-paid bot fumbling through a pre-written spiel. I usually mention I'm recording the conversation and slap on a fee of £5 per minute for my time. Strangely, that tends to get their attention!
