best not to pick up, it’s a total scam and they sneak an extra £1 charge onto your phone bill. they claimed to be from some debt agency but I’ve never heard of them. the woman rushed through the company’s name so fast I had to ask her several times to slow down and repeat it, but she clearly didn’t want me to catch it.

I've been receiving incessant calls regarding a car accident I had, which I must stress, was not my fault. The last incident I was involved in was two decades back! Moreover, I am on the Telephone Preference Service list. It's quite maddening!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from a debt collection company, and then she started talking about me having had a car crash. Problem is, I don’t even drive and hardly ever get in cars. When I kept asking for my name, she just went quiet and then ended the call. The day before yesterday, I spotted a £1 debit on my bank account and contacted my bank’s fraud department. Turns out it was linked to a fake debt collection firm. Not sure if it’s related, but it feels like too much of a coincidence to ignore.

Like many have mentioned before, I received a nuisance call from an automated system claiming I'd been involved in an accident that wasn't my doing. Absolute nonsense! Just a day after I inquired about used car parts online, my phone was bombarded with these calls. It feels like they've unlawfully passed on my number to spammers. I firmly believe there ought to be regulations mandating companies to disclose how they obtained your contact information.
