I just went ahead and blocked the number.

Some people called saying they were from OpenReach, but they clearly weren’t legit - we don’t even have BT internet. They were going on about our connection being hacked from Mountain View, California or something. Asked if we knew anyone there, which we do, and then ended up insulting us, calling us dumb... proper cheeky!
