On 4th April 2017, I got a call from a woman saying my husband had been in a car crash. She wanted me to send money for the repairs. But I don’t even own a car! I told her if she called again, I’d have to report it to the police and just hung up.

On the 4th of April, 2017, I was startled by a call from a woman who claimed my husband had been involved in a car crash. She went on to demand money to settle the supposed damages. The thing is, I don’t own a vehicle, so I firmly told her that if she dared to ring me again, I'd go straight to the police about it. Then, I hung up on her without hesitation.

Got some automated voice on the line, but it was done so it'd seem like a real person talkin, with all these little pauses waiting for me to say summat. They kept going on about some accident I've supposedly been in, saying it's on some official road traffic report or somethin. Honestly, I just wish these scammy firms would stop it. My list of blocked numbers is massive now, longer than I can even remember.
