She called me talking about some car crash. I told her I wasn’t involved in any. There was a pause, then she asked when it happened. I said there wasn’t any accident and then she just hung up. Felt like it was a recording.

Strangely enough, I just saw an accident and gave my phone number to the person involved. When I noticed a missed call from that number, I called back thinking it might be related. But when a voice on the other end said "the number you have dialled is not recognised," I knew it was a spam call. Blocked straight away!

Looks like one of those scam calls about fake accidents. I put the number on Truecaller app on my phone. I reckon it gets shared with other users and helps block them, at least till the scammer switches to another number. Can't believe they keep making these calls when everyone pretty much knows about this scam now. Still must be some folks who get caught out, sadly.

I received a call from an unfamiliar number, so I thought I’d answer it, hoping to hear a voice. Instead, there was silence on the other end, and after three beeps, they just ended the call. Quite odd, really!

I reckon it would be quite something if the tabloids decided to expose one of these blighters. Just imagine - splashing their full names, addresses, dates of birth, and even a picture for all to see! Not just that, but the details of their family as well. I suspect it wouldn’t be long before some of those who’ve been scammed would take matters into their own hands. Honestly, if you're bold enough to fleece elderly folk living on a tight budget in council flats, you ought to prepare for a bit of retribution when the chips are down!

I got an unexpected call from this number around midday today while I was enjoying a meal at the local pub. Unfortunately, I couldn't pick up at the time. After doing a bit of research on this site, I've come to the conclusion that it would be wise to just block the number altogether.

Received a call about an accident that I've absolutely no knowledge of. I ended the conversation before they could wrap it up. From what I've encountered before, as soon as you mention you're not part of the situation, they tend to just cut off. I find these sorts of calls to be utterly irritating and quite rude, to be honest.
