Absolutely a load of scammy rubbish. They started off all serious like, "We heard you were in a car crash." I just told them to jog on, plain as day. Blocked the number straight away, no messing. Funny thing is, this very same number popped up about half a year back. Weird coincidence, innit?

I looked up that department online, but weirdly, there’s no sign of it anywhere. Not sure who was behind the call, but something about it feels off and probably against the law.

I received a call claiming I’d been involved in a collision that wasn’t my fault. When I asked who gave them this info, they said “the RTA Statistics Department.” The person sounded like they were reading from a script or maybe it was a recorded message. Every time I asked something else, they repeated the exact same phrase with the same tone and speed, then abruptly ended the call in the middle of their sentence.
