Got a call from some robot pretending to be human. They said the name was Lauren Hayes and mentioned they were from Adept. Pretty sure it’s one of those ambulance chaser types or something along those lines.

Got a missed call on my phone at 6:06pm.

They’ve rung me a few times and tend to just cut off when I pick up. Today, a lady with a Northern accent said she was from some IT company and mentioned something about me being in an accident that wasn’t my fault. I told her I’ve never actually had a car accident before. She said alright and that they’d take me off their calls. We’ll wait and see! At least she was quite polite.

Received a ring from this number earlier today. It seems to be fully automated, churning out responses via some voice recognition software and a mix of pre-recorded phrases. Initially, it comes off rather convincing. Who on earth are these muppets?

Picked up the phone but since the number looked a lot like the ones I get from those "you were in a car crash recently" calls, I didn’t say a word right away, which seemed to make them hang up straight away. These scammers pretending they’re from proper companies tied to insurance firms, trying to push fake personal injury claims for things like whiplash, are honestly a bunch of muppets. If you ever get a moment, waste their time instead of wasting yours.
