I chose not to pick up when they rang, but decided to look them up afterwards. Had I answered, I'd probably have let them know in no uncertain terms what a bunch of annoying wankers they seem to be! Anyway, I've gone ahead and blocked the number, and I'd really recommend you do the same.

I just received a dodgy call about a supposed car accident. When I inquired why she sounded so much like a robot claiming to be real, I decided to respond in kind. So, I asked her-quite stiffly, mind you-how she managed to obtain my number. She stammered a quick apology and then promptly ended the call. I've now added that number to my block list and marked it as a scam.
