They claimed I was in a car crash, but that wasn’t true, so I just ended the call straight away.

I picked up quick, but after I said hello there was this awkward silence like they were trying to work out what to say. Classic sign of those spammy calls. Then they start going on about some car crash I was apparently part of and that they needed to speak with me about it... complete nonsense as I haven’t had a bump or crash in over a decade. I just put the phone down straight away.
